DESIGN

I started my design career by getting a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Since, I have designed a number or theatrical, corporate, and concert shows professionally all with complete sets of paperwork including plots, equipment lists, circuiting diagrams, load reports, and gel cut sheets.

PROGRAMMING

I’ve worked with a number of designers to get their show programmed both on and off site. In situations where their is no designer I will talk to artists or tour managers about how they would like their show to look then program and operate the console for the show.

I prefer and am most experienced programming on the grandMA2 series products but have knowledge on Hog, Chamsys, and EOS.

ENGINEERING DRAWINGS

While attending university I learned Vectorworks and AutoCAD. Once in the professional world I picked up WYSIWYG for plotting and rendering.

VISUALIZATION

The bulk of my visualization experience is in corporate event design. WYSIWYG was the first software I learned to render events on but when not available I have turned to MA3D. I am also in the process of learning Capture.
